The action thriller Jaat, featuring Sunny Deol, Viineet Kumar Siingh, and Randeep Hooda, has taken cinemas by storm. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film’s cast recently discussed their experiences in IMDb’s Behind The Scenes.

Sunny Deol on Working in Telugu Cinema

Deol, known for his Bollywood hits, shared his experience of working in Telugu cinema. “The main difference is the language. Otherwise, cinema is a universal language,” he said. “What excited me was the movie’s cultural roots, which are rarely seen in Hindi films these days.”

Randeep Hooda on the Impactful Filmmaking Style

Hooda, who has worked internationally, spoke about the Telugu industry’s distinctive style. “They focus on short, impactful shots,” he explained. “It makes every moment thrilling. Jaat excels in this, delivering a high-energy experience that you should watch on the big screen.”

Viineet Kumar Siingh on Technical Consistency

Siingh highlighted the technical similarities across film industries. “The process was the same. I didn’t have trouble understanding the director, and when I saw the final edit, I was impressed. The impact of each shot is much stronger than expected.”

Randeep Hooda Enjoys Playing a Villain

Hooda also opened up about the fun of playing a negative character. “Being a villain lets you do things you wouldn’t in real life, like chopping heads off, all while looking good!” he said. “It’s glamorous and thrilling to play a character with no consequences.”

Sunny Deol on His Iconic Dialogue in Jaat

Deol revealed his initial hesitation about reusing his famous dialogue. “I wasn’t happy at first, but then I understood its importance in the scene. Now, everyone is talking about it,” he shared. The dialogue has become a fan favorite.
