As summer temperatures rise, actress Swati Shah—who plays Jagdamba Devi in Sun Neo’s Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri—is encouraging youth to stay cool the healthy way. Her summer routine is all about natural hydration, not sugary soft drinks.
Swati’s On-Set Hydration Hack
Swati carries over six bottles of water with her to the set, infused with mint leaves and chia or sabja seeds.
“Plain water feels boring to many. Adding mint or seeds makes it refreshing and tasty. It also cools the body and curbs hunger,” she says.
Chaas – A Gujarati Essential
Being Kutchhi, Swati swears by chaas (buttermilk) for most of the year.
“It’s a must in my diet. I add boondi, mint, coriander, and black salt—it tastes amazing and keeps me cool,” she shares.
A Message for the Youth
Swati urges youngsters to rethink their drink choices.
“Cold drinks may feel good briefly but leave you drained. Go for natural options like coconut water, watermelon, oranges, or grapes. They hydrate you better and are healthier in the long run.”
