T-Series and JP Films have announced the female lead of their forthcoming war epic Border 2—Meet Medha Rana, a new face hailing from an Army family. She will feature opposite Varun Dhawan in the sequel to the legendary 1997 film Border, directed by Anurag Singh.

Selected for her hold on local dialects and depth, Medha impressed filmmakers with her earthy performance and natural presence on screen.
