Netflix and YRF Entertainment’s flagship series, The Railway Men, has become a global sensation. This gripping four-part mini-series, which premiered on November 18, has received rave reviews from audiences and critics worldwide. The series marks the first collaboration between Netflix and YRF Entertainment. The Railway Men tells the inspiring story of the employees of the Indian Railways in Bhopal, who demonstrated extraordinary heroism on the night of the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. These brave individuals risked their lives to save their fellow citizens, battling an unseen enemy in the air. Setting a New Standard in Sustainable Filmmaking A YRF Entertainment production, The Railway Men team successfully filmed on a near zero-waste set. Despite the challenges of a large cast, a massive set, and numerous crew members, YRF Entertainment significantly reduced its carbon footprint at the Kalina, Mumbai sets. From December to March, the production generated 19,786 kgs of waste. Impressively, 19,311.2 kgs of this were responsibly recycled, composted, or donated. Only 417.7 kgs were handed over to the municipality as waste, setting a new industry benchmark.
