MUMBAI—September 26, 2023 — Prime Video, India’s beloved entertainment platform, has unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of the medical drama, “Mumbai Diaries.” The season picks up several months after the events of the first, with the staff at Bombay General Hospital facing a fresh set of challenges triggered by a day of relentless rain and the ensuing devastation. This compelling series, created and directed by Nikkhil Advani, is produced by Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani of Emmay Entertainment. Season two reintroduces the versatile ensemble cast from the previous season, including Konkona Sen Sharma, Mohit Raina, Tina Desai, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Satyajeet Dubey, Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande, and Prakash Belawadi. Additionally, it welcomes new cast members like Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Riddhi Dogra. “Mumbai Diaries Season 2” is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide on October 6. It is the latest addition to the Prime membership, which offers Indian Prime members savings, convenience, and entertainment, all bundled together for just ₹1499 per year.

The trailer promises an exhilarating season that escalates the drama with a catastrophic deluge threatening to engulf the city of Mumbai. Once again, the Bombay General Hospital staff must set aside their personal issues, some of which could destroy them, their relationships, and their futures, in order to save the city. They must confront past demons and current circumstances in their efforts to stay afloat and do what they do best: save lives.
