In a remarkable endeavor to foster women-led businesses, the renowned Moha brand from Charak Pharma has successfully concluded the second edition of its “Stand on Your Feet” initiative. This initiative aimed to identify and reward outstanding business ideas proposed by women entrepreneurs, offering them a unique opportunity to win a substantial grant of Rs. 15,00,000 (Fifteen Lacs).

This substantial grant of Rs. 15 lacs is not a loan or an equity investment but a financial boost aimed at supporting these entrepreneurs on their journey to financial independence. It is a significant step forward in empowering women to embrace entrepreneurship and chase their dreams with unwavering determination.

The nationwide hunt for women-led business ideas, initiated on August 15, 2023, continued until October 15, 2023, and received a staggering response of approximately 1500 entries from across the country. An expert selection team meticulously evaluated these entries against various business metrics, eventually shortlisting 10 exceptional entries for the grand finale.

The event’s grand finale, held on November 2, witnessed the top 10 finalists pitching their ideas to a prestigious jury panel comprising Ms. Sussanne Khan, Creative Director and founder of The Charcoal Project; Ms. Divya Dutta, Actor, Poet, and Author; and Ms. Manya Singh, Former Femina Miss India – 2020. Each finalist had a limited time to present their innovative ideas. After careful deliberation, the jury members selected a single winner who would receive the coveted Rs. 15,00,000 reward.

The winners of the “Stand on Your Feet” initiative are as follows:

  • Winner: Diksha Pandey (Rs. 15,00,000)
  • 1st Runner-up: Gayatri Varun (Rs. 5,00,000)
  • 2nd Runner-up: Jasmine Kaur (Rs. 2,00,000)
  • Consolation Prize: Jhalak Shah (Rs. 1,00,000)

Dr. Ram H. Shroff, Director at Charak Pharma, expressed his thoughts on the initiative, stating, “We recognize the challenges that startups face, as we’ve had our own journey in this space. We believe that our ‘Stand on Your Feet’ initiative will serve as an inspiration, encouraging more women to overcome obstacles and attain financial independence. Additionally, our ‘Adopt an NGO program’ already supports 4,500 underprivileged children across 85+ centers, providing them with essential hygiene, nutrition, and education. The ‘Stand on Your Feet’ initiative aligns with our commitment to inspire and drive actions that bring about sustainable social change and growth.”
