Arti Singh is a happy woman these days. The show Shravani, in which she plays the role of Chandra, a scheming and manipulative woman, has completed 250 episodes and is going strong. Arti says that she feels blessed to be part of the show, which is produced by Do Dooni 4 Films, a banner known for its quality content and creative vision.
“The show has been amazing to shoot. The team is like a family to me now. They have taken care of me like a child, especially when I had to undergo surgery during the shoot. I feel it’s my home production. I have enjoyed each day of the shoot. It’s not a set for me. It’s my home,” she says.
Arti also appreciates the story and the writing of the show, which is helmed by Raghuvir Shekhawat, one of the best writers in the industry. She says that the story is impeccable and keeps the audience hooked.
“The story is very well written by Raghuvir sir. He has given a lot of depth and dimension to the characters. He knows how to create drama and suspense. He is one of the best writers we have in our industry,” she says.
Arti says that she loves the challenges that her character brings with it. She says that playing a negative role is not easy or difficult, but sometimes it becomes stagnant. She says that she tries to bring some variation and humour to her scenes, to make them more interesting and entertaining.
“She’s negative and is always manipulating things. Sometimes I try to put a comic touch to my scenes, to make them more lively and fun. I think that adds some spice to the show,” she says.
Arti also has a lot of admiration for the producers of the show, Ravindra Gautam and Raghuvir Shekhawat, who are also the directors. She says that they are the best people to work within the industry, as they are down-to-earth and supportive.
“Raghu sir and Ravindra sir have been amazing. Ravindra sir has directed me before as well. They are the best people to work within the industry. They are so down to earth and are always there for anything. They are the kinds of people who want to prosper and also want people around them to prosper,” she says.
Arti also expresses her love for the TV industry, which has given her a lot of opportunities and recognition. She says that she is happy to be working on TV, which is growing and evolving with new shows and channels.
“The TV industry is definitely growing and good shows are being made, new channels are coming. And I’m very happy that I am working here. I am part of the TV industry. TV has given me a lot. I’ve done Bigg Boss and so many shows on the small screen now. I want to continue working on TV,” she says.
