As “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” hits cinemas on May 17, 2025, Tom Cruise shares the secret behind his jaw-dropping stunts—and it starts at the breakfast table.
Cruise Takes Flight—Literally
In his eighth—and possibly final—outing as Ethan Hunt, Tom Cruise goes higher than ever.
One of the film’s standout stunts shows Cruise hanging from a 1940s-era biplane, flying over South Africa’s Drakensberg mountains.
“I used to watch old wing-walking footage,” says Cruise. “Those planes did maybe 40 or 50 mph. This one hit over 120 mph. It takes your breath away.”
The Breakfast That Fuels the Action
So, how does he prepare for such extreme stunts?
With breakfast—an epic one.
“I eat a massive breakfast,” Cruise reveals. “Sausage, almost a dozen eggs, bacon, toast, coffee, and tons of fluids. I’m burning a lot up there. It’s cold and we’re at high altitude.”
Still Pushing Limits After All These Years
Even after decades in Hollywood, Cruise’s drive hasn’t slowed down.
His formula? Intense training, total focus—and serious fuel to back it up.
