Brand new supernatural drama series on Shemaroo Umang, Shamshaan Champa, is added again with lots of curiosity towards the show. Trupti Mishra plays the role of a Daayan and she is inspired by the popular Monalisa for her unforgettable portrayal of a Daayan in the superhit show Nazar. It has been the influence of Monalisa that Trupti, as Champa, gets new but known energy for this role.
Trupti Mishra says that entering a supernatural realm like this was very exciting, as “Playing a Daayan in Shamshaan Champa has been a thrilling journey. Champa isn’t your usual Daayan. She has incredible powers, yet she has a pure heart. To balance her supernatural powers with a feeling of innocence is not so easy, but with Monalisa’s guidance, it has turned out to be rewarding. I have grown up admiring her work, and having her on board to guide me through the shoots is great. The transformation to the Daayan look, which Gul Ma’am and her team worked out, is my favourite part of the process. I hope the audience enjoys viewing it as much as we do making it.”
Shamshaan Champa comes with a perfect concoction of fantasy and romance, promising to capture the viewers with its high-octane storyline and some stunning visual experiences. The series will also bring Monalisa back to the supernatural genre, so audiences have anticipation set for a level high.
Don’t miss Shamshaan Champa from Monday to Saturday at 9 PM, only on Shemaroo Umang.
