He recently expressed his outrage over the sexual assault of a foreign female tourist by seven men in India. He shared a video of the couple who narrated their ordeal on social media and said,

“I have followed this account for a while. They post amazing videos of their adventure bike trip in India. It’s sad that 7 people sexually assaulted her. SAD.

Many foreign female tourists face this. We can’t afford this if our tourism is to grow globally.”

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is currently working on two upcoming projects: ‘The Delhi Files, which is the third instalment of his ‘Files’ trilogy, and ‘Parva’, which is based on the novel by S.L. Bhyrappa. Both films are expected to be hard-hitting and eye-opening for the viewers.
