Windows Productions Releases the First Song from the Upcoming Pujo Album Bohurupi, “Shimul Polash”

Kolkata, September 12, 2024: Windows Production has shared the long-awaited first song from their new Pujo album, Bohurupi. It’s called “Shimul Polash.” Shrestha Das and Bohurupi artist Nanichora Das Baul beautifully sing the song, which features Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Koushani Mukherjee in the lead roles. Together with Bonnie Chakraborty, Nanichora Das Baul wrote the music. Das Baul also wrote the words.

A beautiful song called “Shimul Polash” tells the story of Bikram and Jhimli’s happy marriage. From the beginning of the song, we see Jhimli getting ready for her wedding while Bikram and his friends appear and record the happy wedding parties. Through a beautiful boat ride and a walk into the distance, the images follow the couple as they start their new life together. They show how they plan to start a family. This is the first time that Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Koushani Mukherjee can be seen moving together on TV.

Shiboprosad Mukherjee, an actor and director, stated that the song “Shimul Polash” by the original Bohurupi artists Nanichora Das Baul and Shrestha Das is a true tribute to the soil. My favourite shot is the one where Bikram and Jhimli walk together toward a faraway scenery. It shows the start of their family trip. This song is significant to me because it was the first dance show I did after my accident. As a skilled dancer, Koushani, dancing with me was both difficult and nerve-wracking.

Koushani Mukherjee, who plays Jhimli, said, “This song is critical to me because it beautifully shows how Jhimli and Bikram feel about each other.” Getting the song’s footage was both fun and hard. In one part, I had to dance on wet ground which was hard to keep my balance. I also had the unique chance to go to pottery classes and make clay pots for the film. We put a lot of work into this project, and I hope people enjoy it as much as we did making it.

Bohurupi is going to be a great film season this year. The movie “Shimul Polash” is already getting a lot of attention for its beautiful visuals and deep emotional content.
