Actress Pranoti Pradhan, well known for playing Madhumita in Sun Neo’s hit series Ishq Jabariya, spoke candidly on World Tourism Day about how much she loves to travel and how it helps her in her creative process as an entertainment professional.
Travel enthusiast Pranoti talked about her favourite travel experiences, with London leading her list of places to visit. “I’ve always loved travelling to London because it’s the ideal place for both solitary and group excursions. Even when travelling alone, the city is simple to explore because of its first-rate infrastructure, dependable transit system, and safety. I love the weather—cloudy and lovely, a great diversion from the heat. London boasts a stunning blend of nature and history; while historic monuments like Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace bring the city’s rich heritage of life, Hyde Park offers tranquillity and beauty. Even though it’s a little pricey, the experience is well worth it,” she said.
Beyond the excitement of discovering new locations, Pranoti discussed the beneficial effects travel has had on her career. “The best way to break up the monotony of everyday living is to go on trips. Routines may get boring, even in creative jobs. A quick getaway can help you mentally reset and rejuvenate for the upcoming months, much like pressing the “reset” button. It also promotes mental clarity and self-reflection by bringing you mental serenity, particularly when you’re in the middle of nature. Travelling makes us aware of how little we are in the grand scheme of things, which helps to control our egos and reminds us to maintain our sense of reality,” the speaker said.
In Ishq Jabariya, Pranoti plays Gulki’s stepmother, Madhumita, who attempts to restrict and obstruct Gulki’s dreams. Siddhi Sharma plays Madhumita. The program follows Gulki as she pursues her goals and overcomes obstacles along the way. Lakshay Khurana and Kamya Panjabi play important parts in Ishq Jabariya as well.
