Worship Khanna Drops 4 Kilos for Role in Pati Brahmachari.

Mumbai, India — TV actor Worship Khanna is back in action with his new show Pati Brahmachari. Known for roles in Kumkum Bhagya, Ishq Subhan Allah, and Dhruv Tara, the actor has taken his preparation seriously—losing four kilos to play his part.

“I Lost Four Kilos for Puran”

Talking about his transformation, Worship said, “I lost four kilos for the role. That’s quite a lot, but let’s just leave it at that.”

He added, “It took nine months to land this role. Funny thing is, I gave birth to Birju nine months ago, and now I’m giving birth to Puran.”
Both roles come from Shashi Sumeet Productions, a studio Worship is happy to return to.

A Happy-Go-Lucky Character

In Pati Brahmachari, Worship plays Puran, the brother of the lead.
“He’s a happy-go-lucky guy,” the actor shared. “He lives in the moment, belongs to a lower-middle-class family, and finds joy in small things.”

Puran’s character adds lightness and humor to the story.
“He believes in love, humanity, and enjoys life despite limited means,” Worship said.

Worship Sees Himself in Puran

Worship connects deeply with the role.
“Like Puran, I love the simple joys—chai by the roadside, pani puri, and chatting with close friends,” he said.

He avoids clubs and prefers quiet places with warmth and conversation.
“Give me a peaceful dhaba over a fancy restaurant any day,” he added.

Message of Positivity

Worship hopes Puran’s attitude inspires viewers.
“Life always brings problems, but your smile should never fade,” he said.

From TV to OTT

Worship has also impressed in web series like Hello Jee, Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala, Tera Ishq Mera Fitoor, and Netflix’s Khan Number One.
With Pati Brahmachari, he continues to evolve as a performer—inside and out.
