National, June 19, 2025 — ZEE5, India’s leading homegrown streaming service, has released the gripping trailer of its new Telugu original, Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting. Helmed by Krishna Poluru, the supernatural thriller is coming to June 27. The series features Abhignya Vuthaluru and Charan Lakkaraju as lead actors.
A Village Trapped in Fear
In 1980s Andhra Pradesh, the drama takes place within Viraatapalem—a rural village plagued by a fatal enigma. Each bride is killed on her wedding day, ending weddings for more than a decade. The only survivors are children and the older people.
A Cop Who Refuses to Give Up
Meet PC Meena (Abhignya Vuthaluru), a defiant constable who doesn’t believe in curses. What she discovers is a network of sinister secrets the village will do anything to keep hidden.
