Acclaimed actress Seerat Kapoor has recently joined the cast of Prateek Sharma’s popular television show, “Rabb Se Hai Dua”. Kapoor is set to portray the character of Mannat in the series’ post-leap sequence, which fast-forwards the storyline by 22 years. The show, which centres around the dynamics of a Muslim family, required Kapoor to adapt to the nuances of the Urdu language. “The process wasn’t easy,” Kapoor admits. “I wanted my portrayal to be natural and authentic, so I invested a lot of time in homework, workshops, and practice. The challenge was intriguing and made the journey all the more rewarding.” Kapoor’s character, Mannat, is described as a strong, confident, and ambitious young woman with a childlike innocence. “Mannat is multi-layered and fights for her rights as well as those of others, setting her apart from everyone else,” Kapoor explains.
