AARYA – Finally Sushmita Sen comes back to something she can sink her teeth into, in Ram Madhwani’s – “AARYA” This 9 Part New Mini series on HOTSTAR keeps you engaged till the end. Its an edge of your seat thrill ride, with twists and turns at the end of every episode.
You do feel it pays homage to the “Godfather”, but this time it is the female power that rises like a phoenix in Sushmita’s Sen’s character, as “Aarya Sareen”. She has to take control of what is rightly so of their family business dynasty in Rajhasthan. Its a complex character, and maturely handled by her. She wants out from the illegal dealings that her family is involved in, and wants to protect her young children away from all this mess.
She faces challenges and obstacles that never end. Its like being caught in a , a maze, a web, a labyrinth, where there is no escape.
I must say also Sushmita is the only one that could only deliver such a bold, and realistic performance. It suits her to the perfect T. I would even say it is one of her best works so far. I want to ask you…where have you been?? You own this series!!! – Along with her is Chahndrachur Singh, Manish Chaudary, Sikander Kher, and Vishawajeet Pradhan, who are just some of the characters that provide support to this story, of a business empire that is going through a turmoil. “AARYA” gets a 4 star recommendation. its a Must See!!
