By Arun Sajnani,

AMERICAN MADE – Finally after a long dry spell…Actor Tom Cruise bounces back with “AMERICAN MADE”. This Brian Grazer Production, directed by Doug Liman is a fun film to watch.

Back in the 80’s during the Reagan Administration in the White House there were indeed cover-ups, with the Cold War, Iran-Contra and the Sandonista regime. Like now, even then there is a huge mess that had to be taken care of with the CIA playing a big role as well. On the other side you had a corrupt General like Noriega, you had Nicaragua out of control, and the Colombian Drug cartel with Pablo Escobar stirring the pot.

So what happens next?? You have TWA pilot named Billy Seal, played by Tom Cruise who gets sandwiched by both sides to deliver the goods. Good or bad he makes tons of money – So much that he has no place to hide it.

Despite the seriousness of the subject, it is the humor of it and the charm, the smile of cruise that makes “American Made” an enjoyable fun film to watch. This film gets a 3 and a half stars recommendation. Enjoy!! Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
