Brother-Sister Duo Arjun-Janhvi Kapoor To Be The First Guests On Koffee With Karan 6
One of television’s most loved chat shows will be back soon! Yup, we are talking about the sixth season of Karan Johar’s popular program, Koffee With Karan. And guess who will be the first guests to grace the coveted couch! As revealed by an industry insider, it’ll be Bollywood hunk Arjun Kapoor and his half-sister Janhvi Kapoor, who has recently opened her Bollywood account with Dharma Productions’ Dhadak. Reportedly, the two are expected to shoot for this episode in this week itself.
We are well aware of the emotional tension between the two families headed by Arjun and Janhvi’s father Boney Kapoor – one comprising Arjun and his late mother Mona Shourie Kapoor and the other comprising late actress Sridevi and her daughters Janhvi and Khushi. They all have undergone a lot for obvious reasons. Amid all this, maintaining a strong bond with Janhvi and Khushi, Arjun has definitely set an example. As a doting brother, he has stood by his sisters, especially when they needed him the most. In fact, it was after the legendary actress and Boney’s second wife Sridevi passed away that Arjun took up the responsibility of lending emotional support to both Janhvi and Khushi. This endearing act certainly earned him a lot of respect and melted many hearts.
All said, it will surely be a treat to watch Arjun and Janhvi sharing Karan’s popular couch, revealing each other’s secrets and giving a peek of their relationship. Having Janhvi on his show will be special for KJo as well. “He shares a special bond with Janhvi. Like Alia, she too is a Dharma protégé and he is extremely protective about her. So far, we have not seen much of siblings on the show and this will be a change,” shared a source.
Apart from Arjun and Janhvi, the strong buzz indicates that we might also watch various other interesting duos on Koffee With Karan 6 like Anushka Sharma – Virat Kohli and Sonam Kapoor – Anand Ahuja. And going by the current rage for newcomers all set to debut in Hindi films, the filmmaker might also have Aryan Khan – Suhana Khan and Ananya Pandey and Ahaan Pandey on his show.
