Kapoor is set to portray the character of Mannat in the series’ post-leap sequence, which fast-forwards the storyline by 22 years. The show, which centres around the dynamics of a Muslim family, required Kapoor to adapt to the nuances of the Urdu language. “The process wasn’t easy,” Kapoor admits. “I wanted my portrayal to be natural and authentic, so I invested a lot of time in homework, workshops, and practice.
