GINNY WEDS SUNNY – Netflix is churning finally some good things from Bollywood. Just released this past Friday, is a small film with a big heart. Its called, “GINNY WEDS SUNNY” It is that typical big fat “Punjabi” wedding that people want, but to get their is not a bed of roses.
This love story is mature, sensible, that has humor and heartaches, for a wonderful love story to evolve. Yes, just like in our real relationships, that evolve. We all try to cement that with a happy ending. Love is complex between “Ginny & Sunny”. They are poles apart. One wants to marry for a business venture in his culinary career, while she is already in another relationship, but has no future.
You could say it is typical “Indian Arranged Marriage”, that becomes love, after they overcome their misunderstandings, and realize what they really mean towards each other. It is a simple love story that takes us on their roller-coaster journey which will touch your hearts.
The chemistry between Yami Gautam & Vikrant Massey is brilliant. They suit each other. Vikrant is the new kid on the block indeed. And Yami, we want to see you more. Now on Netflix, the film gets a 4 star recommendation. Highly recommended. Courtesy Awesome TV & Being Filmy!
