By Arun Sajnani,

JAGGA JASOOS – I guess Bollywood just sent Disney Films to the cleaners with such a horrible film that mixes a little bit of history with fiction in “JAGGA JASOOS”. Produced by Anurag Basu, Ranbir Kapoor, and Disney – It tells you a tale that is based for children. It is about a shy boy who stutters, who then gets abandoned by his father at a young age in Manipur, India. As a result he occupies his time in finding clues and investigating things.

At a young age his father abandons him, and as result little “Jagga” grows up with only one thing in mind, and that is to search for his father. From India to Africa he is on the trail. Along with that, is actress, Katrina Kaif who portrays the clumsy journalist that wants to help “Jagga Jasoos” in anyway possible, but why??.

Director Anurag Basu, and Actor Ranbir Kapoor have mentioned that they wanted to make a film that is experimental with many songs, of which were basically rap dialogues. Pritam took time to compose so many not so great songs in this film, yet only track – “Galti se Mistake” is the number that has been well choreographed.

I wonder why the same thing happens again and again, when being over indulgent and being over ambitious can make anything a disaster. There is no chemistry between Katrina and Ranbir, and the film tries to show that it is a film that has a child like feeling, yet it talks about illegal arms being sold from country to country. This concept and plot take 3 hours to unravel, Great visuals, with poor performances by Katrina and the stuttering detective Ranbir Kapoor. .The film should get an award for the worst film of the year. Save your money. The film gets only 0 stars. Courtesy awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
