LITTLE WOMEN  There have been plays and other adaptations of this novel done before for celluloid, but it is this version directed by Greta Gerwig that takes you to another time and era in “LITTLE WOMEN”.

The film takes place in 19th century, when woman were only to think of getting married, and not pursuing their dreams or profession. But “LITTLE WOMEN” is a delight to watch. It tells the story of 4 strong sisters who are so different from each other, and yet their strong bond holds them together, despite their rivalry or differences, that at times splits them from one another. This is all in the name of love. It is lovely film, with simple storytelling, and yet complex at the same time.

It has a great cast, with Meryl Streep and Laura Dern, as the parental need that the 4 girls need. From Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh & Eliza Scanlen, as the siblings, It is Saoirse and Florence roles that stand out. Their love triangle between Laurie played by Timothee Chalamet will touch your heart. With this film family bonds and romance is still alive. The film gets a 4 star recommendation. Its a Must See!! – Enjoy!! Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
