MOLLY’s GAME – Aaron Sorkin is known for verbal, intriguing and long dialogues between his characters in a screenplay, and for him to direct “MOLLY’S GAME” is a double treat as well. Based on a true story about Molly Bloom who aspired to be a U.S. Olympic medalist in skiing and failed, then took an unusual turn in different ways of getting to the top of her game.

Meeting up with big card sharks from celebrities and politicians, in sports and in Hollywood, she created a private sports poker event with high stakes. It seemed legitimate, until pressure and mistakes were made. Everyone wants a piece of the pie, even Wall Street, and hedge fund people.

Jennifer Chastian is brains and beauty combined. She delivers a great performance. Actor Idris Elba as her lawyer brings great curiosity and sensitivity to his supporting role to her. Even Kevin Costner despite in a smaller role, gives a very endearing performance towards the end as the alienated father of Molly.

This is also another Oscar worthy film. The film gets a 4 star recommendation. go see it!! Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
