PATNI AUR WOH – Yes B.R Chopra’s production of “PATI PATN AUR WOH” gets a reboot of this light comedy caper from Sanjeev Kumar version from 1978 into 2019, with Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar, & Ananya Pandey in the lead.
I am glad the film is not an actual remake. The film has been revamped and updated with different situations that will suit today’s audiences sensibilities. Set in Kanpur, the film deals with a middle-class couple that has been happily married for 3 yearsm but things become a little complicated, when the hubby get bored, and frustrated, and finds a client at his office attractive.Yes this can go both ways too. But the film tells you the rights and wrongs, and how a marriage should be saved and valued.
The film has some cute funny elements that will make you chuckle, with Kanpur (India) local flavor intact. The whole entire cast have complimented each other and have given a natural performance that spark chemistry, and great comedy timing on screen for the audience to enjoy.
