Want To Know What Rishi Kapoor Has To Say About Ranbir-Alia’s Relationship?
Little did we or Alia Bhatt, for that matter, know when she got candid about her crush on Ranbir Kapoor during the initial phase of her career that she will eventually end up dating the handsome hunk one day. That she refrained from opening up about her feelings for the man when she actually began seeing him is a different story altogether. All she let out was, “I’m not single.” Ranbir, on the other hand, has been quite vocal about Alia, as he was quoted as confessing, “It’s something beautiful, sacred and really important.”
That’s from the past. What’s the latest in their love nest? Well, we hear wedding bells by the end of this year. There’s been no confirmation from the couple though. But the fact that the duo look absolutely head over heels in love with each other, and to top it all, their respective parents too seem to have given them the green signal to take their relationship to the ultimate level, it is but obvious to speculate that Ranbir and Alia might just be already preparing for their big day.
Yup, parents have evidently approved of their relationship and looks like, they would be just too glad to see the two tying the sacred knot soon. How can we not mention Neetu Kapoor flooding Alia’s Instagram posts with hearts and kisses! Even Rishi Kapoor, who as we all know is too hard to please, doesn’t have any issues with his son going around with Bhatt, who is 10 years younger than Ranbir. In fact, looks like, he is quite fond of Alia. When during a media interaction, Mumbai Mirror asked the veteran actor about this, he quipped, “It’s Ranbir’s life. Who he wants to get married to is his prerogative. Neetu likes her, I like her, Ranbir likes her. Get it? I can’t be judgmental. After all, my uncles Shammiji and Shashiji and I chose our life partners. Ranbir is entitled to choose his.”
On Ranbir’s rumored marriage plans, Rishi was quick to say, “It is high time he got married. I settled down when I was 27. Ranbir is 35. So he should think about marriage. He can marry anyone of his choice. We don’t have any objection to it. I want to spend time with my grandchildren before I am gone.” That’s really cute of the senior star to talk about his wish to play with his grand kids.
