I will not go further into that, because for that you must go and see the film “SHUBH MANGAL SAAVDHAN” , which brings back Ayushman Khuranna & Bhumi Padnekar back together after “Dum Laga Ke Haisha”. The Delhi and North flavor is the trend now for 2017 in Bollywood. The film takes on the topic of a man not getting it on to the woman he loves, and wishes to marry.
This topic comes to life on the big screen in a light comedy family entertainer. Yes you heard it right. After “Vicky Donor”, the audience is ready and so is India ready for dealing with these topics more openly, and with great sensitivity.
The acting is superb from the whole cast. Ayushman Khuranna suits these off-beat roles. He is today’s Amol Palekar. As for Actress Bhumi Padnekar, she is full of spark and is a natural. She is sheer simple beauty with brains. The film is produced by Anand L. Rai, and directed by R. Prasanna gets 3 and a half stars recommendation.
