SUBURBICON – George Clooney has directed various films in the past like, “The Monuments Men”, “Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind”, just to name a few. This time he takes up a subject called, “SUBURBICON”, that has been written by the “Coen Brothers”. It has that “FARGO” feel in his new film with Matt Damon and Julianne Moore.

The film is a black comedy, and is dark and disturbing. There are some interesting twists, and scenes that are very “Hitchcock” style in film making, but ultimately it becomes a downer, and takes the audience in downward spiral towards the climax.

Set in the 50’s, when families strove to have a dream house in the suburbs sets the premise of this film. But all is not well this family. The film gets a 2 star recommendation, and caters to a niche audience. Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
