By Arun Sajnani,
THE HITMAN’S BODYGUARD – Is it going to be the final big budget action film of this summer?? – Well not exactly… but if you like these actors in their usual stereo-type performances where Samuel Jackson, who is known for loudness and profanity, and actor Ryan Reynolds, who is always irritated and sarcastic, then you will enjoy it.
But that is only in parts with some great car chases in Amsterdam, and in England. These things are a diversion that covers and dilutes the repetitiveness of these kind of buddy-buddy films.
A small rogue nation’s leader is under an International investigation tribunal, and the “Hitman’s” – appearance is needed to testify against him. But in order to do so, he needs the supervision of a “Triple AAA” rated Bodyguard who is going through a rough patch has to bring him safely to the court. It sounds simple, but all hell breaks loose until he gets there. A predictable affair that you can see on HBO. The film gets only 2 stars. Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
