YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA PHIR SE” – The “Deols” are back for the third time in “YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA PHIR SE”. The last one was a disaster, so Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol decide to make another one to make it right for the audience this time. Does it click with the audience? Well not exactly. It is indeed better then the last one with the orangutan that mostly stole the limelight from them in part 2. This one at least they are in form, yet at the same time charming as he may be, but Dharmendra who is in his 80;s now, does look old and haggard. The film projects to be a comedy, but it is very dry in that department. You could say its a light film with a weak story,
Basically the plot is about a big Indian based pharmaceutical company that wants to buy out the Ayurvedic secret ingredient from Puran Singh, played by Sunny Deol, who is an Ayurvedic specialist. has been running his family tradition, by running his shop for years in Amritsar, India. At no cost he wants to sell, and shut shop, yet his younger silly brother, played by Bobby wants this transaction to take place as soon as possible.
Things get messy, and misleading. As a result it leads to a court house battle. Its an odd story, yet on the good side, it has fun songs, and cameos from Shratrughun Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha, and Salman Khan towards the end. The film gets a 2 and a half recommendation.
