ALITA BATTLE ANGEL – All I can say is WOW!!!! – I am speechless and the film is filled with amazing non-stop action, with special effects that are so good, that you will not know what is real and what is not real.
Coming from Producers – James Cameron & John Landau, and Director Robert Rodriguez – “ALITA – BATTLE ANGEL – is a Sci-fi film set in the future 500 years ahead. This is the age of the robots, where some are have become cyborgs, and some are half human, half artificial intelligence.
The film belongs to Rosa Salazar, who plays the lead teen-age girl named “ALITA”. Picked up as scrap from a junk, site, a doctor brings her back to life, and becomes a bounty hunter. The film has so much depth, and emotions, on many levels, especially for woman. Such as woman empowerment, their strength against adversity. Even for parents losing their loved ones. Can they be recreated, or remembered??. And the main thing the film battles the theme of “Big Ben” is watching. No one likes to be a slave or a puppet, or constantly be under control by someone. Not even a civilization. If you are different, can you fall in love in a normal setting?? The film has many messages that try answer many ideas that we as a society battle. But the film is a visual treat that keeps you at the edge of your seat at all times. Especially the “Motorball Game Challenge” – scenes. Christopher Waltz, Mahershah Ali, & Jennifer Connelly have played their parts with great earnestness as well.
