DARK WATERS – The damage has been done, and things have been unregulated for decades, and as results are there in our drinking water throughout the world, and especially here in America. Based on true events, “DARK WATERS” – tells the story of a corporate lawyer that goes independent, and takes on the industrial giant company called Dupont. They had created and patented the Teflon Pan, which now is known to be a toxic and can create cancer. But to have dumped many chemicals in our reservoirs near their plants, and to create landfills to cover these chemicals demands a lawsuit. Many local farmers lost their cattle and livelihood as a result of this nightmare.

This lawsuit took place in 1998, and is still going strong in the court houses in the United States. Mark Ruffalo who has produced this film and as acted in this film, has given one of his best performances. the humility and the way his character dedicated his life in fighting for the truth, and justice has been brilliantly portrayed by him. In addition, Tim Robbins, and Ann Hathaway do also lend their support toward his character in the film well.

You do feel disturbed and disappointed to see our government keeping a blind eye on such matters. But it is films like these that exposes the truth and makes you aware that justice will prevail, by we the people. I urge you all to see this film. It gets a 4 star recommendation. Go see it!!!  Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
