MORBIUS – Jared Leto can transform himself into anything, and he even suits the role of Dr. Morbius. in, “MORBIUS”. Now this is a darker character from the Marvel portofolio of superhumans.
The film goes in a flashback, about he and his friend “Mylo-Lucien” dealt with constant blood transfusions so that they can be alive. There was something that was lacking in their DNA.
As Morbius grew up and became a doctor he finds the cure of getting a cure through bats. But the fusion of that creates havoc to him. The thirst for fake blood and real blood is needed to be strong. But accidentally he becomes a killer and a powerful like vampire. You could say that series on HBO – “True Blood” meets a superhero with grey shades thrown in.
Yes there is sequel in the offing, but the impact gets weak and predictable towards the end. Even though it has some good surprises towards the end.
