PUNJAB NAHI JAUNGI – I am indeed a sap for love stories and I have noticed in recent few years that Pakistani films are improving with content and its subject mattes are clean, and entertains the entire family.
This new film by Director-Nadeem Baig called, “PUNJAB NAHI JAUNGI” bring out that Bollywood flavor of a Yash Raj film on canvas with themes that remind you of films like, “Abhimaan”, Purab Aur Paschim”, and “Veer-Zaara”, all wrapped in one. Mind you it is a new film and it has its own original story.
The lead cast featuring, Humayun Sayeed and Mewish Hayat are perfectly paired, and their chemistry shows. The theme is simple. How much would you do, or give in the name of love – to the one you love?? It is today’s generation film, but with traditions intact. The film deals with the beginnings of a relationship and its teething stages. I want to tell you more, but for now just see it at your nearest local cinema house. The film gets a 3 and a half star recommendation. Go and must see it!! – Enjoy!!
