RADHE – YOUR MOST WANTED BHAI – Yup it is Eid week, and Salman Khan celebrates his Eid, by bringing us another Masala Entertainer. “RADHE-YOUR MOST WANTED BHAI”, is a Sohail Khan Production, that is Directed by Prabhu Deva once again. The film has been ready since last year, but with the ongoing pandemic, and what is going on in India, this film gets a big screen release in America.
It is loosely another episode of “Wanted”. The film is a pot boiler action film with all the gloss, good music, glamour, which is slicky paced for the audiences delight. This time “Bhaijaan’s” message is to say – “NO TO DRUGS”, and he wants to clean up the city Mumbai up.
Randeep Hooda as villain is bone chilling violent and gruesome, who has not a pint of conscience. He is the highlight of the film in my book. He and his goons are drug pedlars from New Delhi, who want all kids in colleges to be on their cocaine product, so that they can make a lot of money from their vendors in Mumbai.
The film at times is preachy, and has a weak plot. Jackie Shroff as Avinash Abhyankar, a head Police Officer brings the light comedy scenes to the film. As for the leading lady Disha Patani, plays as an upcoming model, who loves her “RADHE”. She is sexy and bubbly, but is restrained to perform in that way only. She looks to young to play Salman’s love interest.
However there is excessive violence, and yet everything was going great, until the last 5 minutes of the film. The climax looks so rushed and far fetched with bad guys escaping in a helicopter. Looks very over the top, and badly executed.
As for Bhai…this is not “Mission Impossible”. You are not Tom Cruise, you are just our “Most Wanted Bhai…”.
