ROBIN HOOD – From the makers of the “Kingsmen” – Series, this new film on “ROBIN HOOD” – that stars Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx should not be missed. It released during Thanksgiving this past week, and it probably got sandwiched with other many biggies that have released here in the multiplexes.
It does indeed get a revamp to this folklore fairy tale that tells the story of Lord of Loxley that took from the rich and gave to the poor. The film is sleek and action packed that suits today’s tempo of the audience. I felt like a kid again watching such swashbuckling stuff, and it was above my expectations.
The film is sleek and fast paced. In England centuries ago, The Church and state went hand in hand to keep their people under their thumb through fear. The film has some great witty dialogues and good lines that any actor would enjoy performing. The climax with Jamie Foxx towards the end is the one that deserves some claps.
