SHUBH MANGAL ZYADA SAAVDHAN – Homosexuality is one’s own choice to be, and it should be accepted with respect and dignity to the whole community around the world as well.

Under section 377 under the Indian Penal Code, it has only recently been accepted, and passed for the LGBT to legally get married and be accepted for who they are as a community. This is a huge accomplishment, yet certain countries face the stigma of accepting it, even when laws have been passed for them.

Coming form the production house of Anand L. Rai, – “SHUBH MANGAL ZYADA SAVHDAN” shows a gay couple in love with each other, and they want their families to accept them for who they are. These are private matters that families face. It is an uphill battle. But the film takes a humorous approach by delivering this message of accepting and coming to terms with their children, who are coming out of their closets.

People will feel that Ayushmann Khuranna and new find Jitendra Kumar may have had their roles a bit edited, since the love story is the center of the plot. But kudos to the director for showing the parents perspectives, and the families ordeals, on how they deal with this situation.

Its funny and to see Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta, including Manoo Rishi and Maanvi Gagroo are the real ingredient for this comedy film to take shape. It speaks volumes for this movie.. Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta as the parents with their woes, have perfect chemistry and timing, We hope to see them both more together in the future. The film is not controversial – but entertaining. The film gets 3 and a half stars recommendation. Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
