STREE – Yes it is indeed a ridiculous true story…supposedly, and it is refreshing new that is something zany- funny, and off the wall humor that now comes from Bollywood. “STREE” is a movie where comedy meets horror.

Set in a small town in India, the whole village for a few days in a year keep their men behind closed doors, or else an evil witch-ghost, who is lusting on their souls will abduct them, strip them naked and make them disappear in the jungle. The villagers write on their house front walls…”Stree Mat Aana…Kal Aana…” – (Lady Ghost do not come here…come tomorrow…) – This is to ward off the evil from their town.

But it is up to Actor Raj Kumar Rao as the simpleton ladies tailor that becomes the chosen one to protect the village from this curse that he created by accident, It is a cute film that has good comic timing which performed so well by the cast, especially from Raj Kumar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi. Shraddha Kapoor is also apt for the role as the mysterious women that enters the town by not mentioning her name or whereabouts, Remember simple storytelling goes a long way for a fun film to be a hit. The film gets a 3 star recommendation. Enjoy!! Courtesy Awesome TV & BEING FILMY.
