TENET – What if the future came to you? What if a devastating weapon came from the future into the the past and present to create world destruction…what would you do? This is the topic that will keep you mind boggled with this new endeavour of a film called, “TENET”. From the visionary director, Chris Nolan, he comes up with new complex and cerebral subject, that is new. “TENET” – keeps you glued through the whole narrative.
Now playing in selected theaters across USA, this is a film that needs to be seen on the big screen. I was apprehensive at first, but the theaters locally have maintained social distancing, with 25% capacity and have proper sanitizing equipment throughout the multiplexes. It is indeed safe.
Now back to my review. The film has a great star cast with John David Washington, of “Black Kkklansman” fame, now appears as the protagonist, in the role of a CIA, that risks his life for the better of humanity in this film. Along with him is Robert Pattinson, and they are on a mission to find out about a deadly weapon that uses reverse chronology and how it can kill you from the future. How to prevent this situation from a deadly disaster sets the premise of this story.
They now seek help from many characters in the film, like Michael caine, and yes Bollywood actress, Dimple Kapadia, who plays Priya. She is like the bridge with clues that bring the scientific information that can lead them to their main villain, played by Kenneth Branagh. He simply thick skinned, and cunning, as the Ukrainian arms dealer, that treats his wife very abusively.
The film is fascinating and the concepts are just jaw dropping to watch. Like – “Inception”, “Interstellar”, and the “Batman” – Trilogy, this is a must see too!!! The film gets a 4 star recommendation. Hooray for “Hollywood”. Courtesy Awesome TV & Being Filmy!
