THE OLD GUARD – New on Netflix is is “THE OLD GUARD”. If you like stories about immortality, then this new action thriller featuring Charlize Theron is your ticket to enjoy this at home.
Many of these special trained soldiers are working undercover for the American Government. Some of them have lived for a century. Some have just been initiated, and some have been alive for thousands of years before even Christ. It is novel fiction subject indeed. It reminds you of “Highlander”, and the HBO” series called, “True Blood”.
However I wish their was more plot development, and some kind of montage that could show these many characters historical battles, with their individual stories uniting into one, with this film. Charlize’s character was a Queen many centuries ago. Now I would like to know more of that era. Overall “THE OLD GUARD” gets a 2 star recommendation. Courtesy Awesome TV & Being Filmy!
