Tiger Shroff, And Not Ranveer Singh, To Star In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Next?

Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have finally come together in one sentence! Yup, the latest reports doing the rounds of the Tinsel Town signal towards a unique collaboration soon. That of the two! Excited, aren’t you? And a little staggered at the same time, right? For, Ranveer Singh – who was the male lead in the ace filmmaker’s last three projects – might just not a part of his upcoming project.

If it’s a Bhansali’s venture, it’s a given that it’ll be grand in every possible sense of the word. Magnificent sets, splendid costumes and awe-inspiring vibes are written all over the movie expert’s films. Certainly, his next too will be high on all that and probably more. If that’s not all, you will be amazed to know that the film will be based on a book by the acclaimed author, Amish Tripathi. If The Immortals of Meluha has just crossed your mind, hold your horses, guys – it’s definitely not the well-received first novel of the Shiva trilogy series. Mumbai Mirror cleared the air on the same, quoting a source thus, “Contrary to speculation, the book in question is not The Immortals of Meluha, but along similar lines. It is yet to be released and could hit the bookstores around the same time as the film’s arrival, if everything falls into place. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Tiger have had several meetings on the subject and both are keen to join hands with Amish on what will undoubtedly be one of the most-talked-about projects in recent times. Tiger is yet to give the nod given his packed schedule, but is trying to work out the dates as he doesn’t want to lose out on the opportunity of working with one of his favorite directors.”

If the reports turn out to be true, it would be truly a visual treat for us ardent movie buffs to watch the hot-bod Tiger Shroff in an SLB creation. While we are it, we must look at Tiger’s filmography which looks quite promising at the moment. The 28 years and five films old actor has pretty interesting projects in his work bag. Thanks to his very first collaboration with Dharma Productions, he will be seen in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year sequel in 2019. Tiger also has the remake of Rambo in his kitty; this film was announced at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. There’s more – apart from the second sequel to Baaghi, the actor will also be part of a YRF dance-action venture, alongside Hrithik Roshan.
