Here is when Parimal Mehta and Rohit Reddy founded Blackcanvas Media Pvt. Ltd. and they had a pageant OMG Face of the year under it. They have an absolutely amazing list of jury and mentors which have names like Mr. World Rohit Khandelwal, ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani, Vahbiz Mehta, Kavita Kharayat, Sunny Kamble and the list goes on.
Founder Parimal Mehhta & CMO Rohit Reddy is the main brainchild behind this creative IP which is powered by Skinworks. A Talent Hunt which has crossed over 2500 contestants registering online, has created a benchmark in itself by making it as a creative learn, compete and win platform. There are numerous sub winners in it and it has garnered anticipation like no other pageant in history. What started as an idea to provide a platform for the creative and the talented to show their talent is a full-blown all digital pageant now.
We spoke to Mr. Parimal Mehhta and here is what he has to say, “The main idea for the creation of this pageant is to give a platform to the talent. The covid pandemic has hit every one of us hard and as a nation, we don’t want to miss out on the talent pool of these two years. We are ready to roll and we are seeing enormous amounts of participation. It’s all online that doesn’t require people to physically meet but the level of competition is huge. It’s a celebration of talent and we have some fantastic mentors who will see everyone through and groom them.”
With some wise words by Mr. Rohit Reddy, “In the era of digitalization, the idea behind oMg face of the year is to create a unique and transparent digital program for today’s youth aspiring to enter the fashion industry. Win from Home is our motto. There were no work and jobs for the creative people during the lockdown and it is still prevalent.
