‘Salman Khan Brings The Most Festive Song Of 2018 – Watch Chogada From Loveratri
It’s right here, guys! It’s full of colors, excitement, energy, dance and everything that would make you get into your dance shoes and hit the floor. Titled Chogada, it’s a super peppy number from Salman Khan’s upcoming production, Loveratri. The superstar is launching his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and a new girl Warina Hussain as the leading couple in the musical romantic drama. You will love it all the more if you are a garba enthusiast. Undoubtedly a foot-tapping new Navratri anthem!
Playfully sung by Darshan Raval and Asees Kaur, and gorgeously composed by Lijo George and DJ Chetas – Chogada is high on some really cool and vibrant garba steps, tastefully choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant. Watch a love-struck Ayush wooing his lady in front of the London Bridge in the groovy number.
As you must have noticed, Chogada has given a vivacious spin to the popular track Sabse Bada Tera Naam from Suhag (1979). The sprightly tunes certainly come across as a fresh, modern twist to the original song without ruining its essence.
Interestingly, apart from Ayush and Warina, the film’s director Abhiraj Minawala is also debuting in Hindi movies with Loveratri. Talking about his experience with Chogada, he shared, “We required a song that had a strong connect to Gujarati culture. And since we’ve mostly seen everything related to the state in a caricaturish way in films, we wanted to highlight its strong points. Our music supervisor got in touch with Chetas and Lijo and they came up with a song in just half an hour.”
Loveratri rides high on music and romance, and is set in Gujarat against the backdrop of Navratri. Baroda boy Ayush finds himself head over heels in love with the NRI Warina when she visits the town during Navratri. How he manages to dance his way into her life and heart forms the film’s plot. Written by Niren Bhatt, Loveratri also stars Anshuman Jha, Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy in important roles. The film is set to release 5 October this year.
